Make the next step clear for your patients.

Medicaid changes in Georgia mean more coverage questions at your front desk. We’ll get your website, patient messages and team ready before January.

Three changes to know

Since October 1, 2026

Coverage for certain noncitizens

Full federally funded Medicaid now covers only lawful permanent residents, Cuban-Haitian entrants and COFA migrants. Some patients who were covered before no longer are.

August and October 2026

Residency verification

Georgia’s Department of Community Health is verifying the residency of select members reported as getting Medicaid in Georgia and another state.

“Is my visit still covered?”

Your front desk is about to hear that question a lot more. Each one takes time to answer. And when patients aren’t sure about coverage or cost, they wait. Some don’t come back.

Where to start

  1. 01

Can patients easily find the specific insurance plans you accept?

  2. 02

Does your front desk know how to handle coverage questions and where to send patients for help?

  3. 03

Do patients know what to do when their insurance changes?

If any answer is “not really,” that’s what we fix.

Ona Oghogho, founder of Adode Media

I spent 10+ years on the billing side.

Before I started Adode Media, I worked in healthcare operations: billing, patient registration and revenue cycle. I know what happens when a patient shows up unsure about coverage, and what it costs a practice when they don’t show up at all. Now my team builds the communication that keeps your patients informed and booking.

Common questions

Only a few of my patients use Medicaid. Is this still for me?

Yes. Even a few confused patients mean extra calls and missed visits. Clear information helps every patient.

Do you check eligibility or handle billing?

Do you need access to patient information?

How fast can this be live?

Who’s in the video?

Step 1 of 2

Book your coverage call

Step 2 asks about your practice and which option you want, then you pick a time. You’ll talk with Ona, our founder, directly, not a sales rep.
